At 200 square feet this 2000 International 3400 Eldorado bus went from a shell to a home faster than you'd think its International 3400 T444E would allow! Now a full tiny house on wheels, the bus is titled as an RV and is ready to take you out into the great wide open!
The outside of the bus is a beautiful Robin’s Egg Blue with some slate grey customizing, a standard home exterior front door with nine panes, and even a Bigfoot mural on the back that continues to the inside of the bus.
Once inside you can quickly see the rustic inspiration that has helped turn this bus into a comfortable home on wheels. From the custom barnwood cabinets to the antler door handles there is adventure everywhere. At entry the living room area and couch is to the left while the kitchen area is to the right. The kitchen countertop is an epoxy finish inlaid with pennies of all years. The sink is a galvanized wash tub with running water (courtesy of a water pump and filter) and the base cabinets and wall cabinets are, again, salvaged barn wood. The doors to the base cabinets are made of barn wood as well. Just beyond the sink is a floor to ceiling storage area that pulls out in three sections, an apartment sized refrigerator, and a convection oven. The entire setup is perfect for cold weather stews or easy, breezy crisp salads in the summer.
All of the original bus windows have been kept and are covered with custom burlap shades that can easily be rolled sideways to let in tremendous natural light. While there is no air conditioner, there is a vent fan in the ceiling that circulates air and because all the windows open, the breeze is incredible.
Just past the kitchen is the bathroom, made private by doors that slide on barn style hardware. Inside the bathroom is a shower stall with corrugated metal walls, inlaid with pennies and even a bigfoot using darker pennies. Next to the shower stall is a composting toilet that is easy to get to for cleaning and regular maintenance.
Across from the bathroom and just down from the couch - that, yes, does turn into a bed - is an electric heater designed to look like a wood stove followed by a drop down desk (or table) for two! It is a great setup and makes smart use of the space. The desk is an aged piece of wood and fits the theme of the bus perfectly. The stove heats the space nicely and probably more so because the walls are insulated with R13, the ceiling with R19, and the floor with R10. There is also spray foam in any area where air may come in or escape.
The rear of the bus is the bedroom and is taken up with an almost brand new full size mattress. Underneath the bed is storage and at the foot of the bed are two hidden laundry bags.
To keep the sink and shower flowing, the skoolie has a 43-gallon fresh water tank as well as a 46-gallon grey water tank. It is easy to both fill up and drain the water. Underneath the couch in the front is the electrical panel - 30amp service - and the water pump switch.
This gorgeous adventure home has only 170,000 miles on it and is being sold for far less than it is worth. To find out more information about this listing call Ashley at 704-508-9046
