This 21-foot-long, ~120sf, 1965 Silver Streak Sabre makes for a perfect mid-century-modern, tiny home, she-shed, man-cave, work-at-home office, guest suite, or backyard ADU. And, with its riveted aircraft aluminum construction it weighs in at only 2800 pounds, making it remarkably easy to tow -- especially in contrast to similarly-sized modern Airstreams, which run 50% heavier.
In fact, Silver Streaks were intentionally built to higher manufacturing standards than Airstreams and have always lasted longer. Even the hard-coat anodized skin was thoughtfully designed to save the hassle and expense of all the polishing that Airstreams require. This Sabre model is in fully-functional, near-original, meticulously restored and maintained condition. All original appliances, fixtures, and systems are operating beautifully. All restorations and upgrades have been faithful to mid-century materials and décor.
