About

A 15 foot diameter ECO-YURT for sale. It is a refurbished 5 years old yurt.
For the price of a few months rents, you can own your own studio equivalent.
This requires a piece of property for relocation.
Yurt will require a means of moving off site to your location (a pickup, an SUV, or small trailer, or, van). Installation is best on a deck.
Heating is best provided by a propane gorilla heater. A small wood burning stove can be installed.
With proper installation, this yurt is absolutely weather proof. I've lived in it through two winters quite comfortably.
There is the option of leaving the yurt in place and joining the community where it is located: Laurel"s Nest Yurts. This require a 1000.00 initial fee, 8 hours of work per week, 100.00 per month utilities, and the approval of the manager, property owner and the other members.

The following has been done to it this year
1. all canvas has been triple painted with special insulation paint.
2. a new ring that lifts up for ventilation
3. paneled walls with hard insulation, ready to be stained or painted
4. insulated and paneled cieling with attractive staining
5. floor: a step up has been added covering 1/3 of floor; the other 2/3rds has been covered with cherry laminated flooring.
6. a 150 sqr. ft porch and deck with laurel railing out of pressurized decking lumber has been added.
7. a sink/bar is in the process of being completed.

I will help you deconstruct and pack the yurt for transport
The price is $3500.00
I have 3500.00 in materials in the yurt and at least 2 months of labor.
Space is big enough for 1 person to live in, or, as a bedroom/study for 2 people, or, a studio for work, art, writing purposes.

I've lived in this yurt for a couple of years, but, work calls me elsewhere. I've enjoyed it immensely, it is cozy and serene. Living in the round is completely different than in a square. It enhances creativity, opens your mind, and generally makes you feel good, and, connected to the natural world and the universe.
Pictures below:
Sincerely,
Trayce

PICTURES: these are pics of the yurt in the process of renovation.
1. the deck now extends in front of door and another 10 feet to the right, it also has creatively design laurel wood railings
2. the floor: with cherry laminate and unsanded or stained step up floor on left
3. the ring: prior to finishing, you can see the panneling arrangement of the ceiling
4. the Yurt: just after painting and reconstruction.
5. the paneled walls: initial stages of paneling the walls over 1/2 inch hard foam core insulation
NOTE: I have pics of inside, but, can't load them from camera due to a technical problem. I am currently out of state and can't retake. I am available to finish details on yurt and assist with deconstruction given a week or two notice.
