Stay In A Tiny Cabin

Ever get cabin fever? Me too. If you’re itching to get out and about I believe you’ll like this post. If you have followed the Tiny House Listings Blog for any length of time, you may know that I am a big fan of the website Airbnb. If you have never heard of the site, it’s a place where people can find and book vacation rentals of all shapes and sizes. My brother and his wife are staying in the first cabin (“The Tree Cabin” in Waterford, VT) next weekend- I gifted the a night there for a Christmas present. Dustin said he’ll be taking some photos and video….the people who run the place seem very nice, and its a GREAT area of Vermont.

My wife has a brother and sister-in-law in Thousand Oaks, CA so a few of these small rentals might work out well when we go visit them. We stayed at a small cabin in Moonshine Creek Campground/RV Park in Balsam, NC last September and it was rather small. Consisted of a kitchen-dining-living room with a small bedroom in rear. No bathroom but was next to the big laundy/bath house. We’re in South Carolina and would probably be more likely to stay in a small cabin in areas within a 300 mile radius from Greenville.

We’re launching a new service that specialize in tiny space temporary rental, but in a very unique way. It would be great if you could spread the word that we’re looking for owners of unused (idle) tiny spaces. The key to our method is that each owner will have the ability to invite whomever they wish, from the pool of folks looking to rent, instead of the renters contacting them. And we’ll do it in a way that owners can side step the legal issues that crop up with zoning and hospitality licensing…etc.

Anyway, would appreciate a mention so we can reach out to tiny space owners to build our registry.

Please check out our cabins at http://www.amishcabincompany.com

Each model has full architectural plans and they’re the only cabins built in Kentucky that are Kentucky Industrialized Building Systems (KIBS) approved as modular residences. Built in an off-grid facility on an Amish farm in Kentucky. 2 solar power options available.

We can currently have a fully built cabin delivered in about 6 weeks- free delivery anywhere in Kentucky and discounted delivery into surrounding states.

5 cabin models to choose from and buyer chooses model, size, all colors (stain, metal roof, kitchen countertop), and options.

These are not trailers or mobile homes- they are modular homes that are deeded real estate and bank loans can be found in a land/cabin deal. They have no chassis or title- they are deeded property. Fully insulated with energy efficient 3Ht insulation and many options are available as seen on our website. Delivered prebuilt and ready for same day use. Foundation, plumbing, and permits are buyer’s responsibility. Our specialized delivery trailer can precisely set a 10,000 pound cabin on a pier foundation, crawlspace foundation, or slab foundation.

We also sell cabin kits and onsite custom built cabins as shown on the website. The kits are considerably less expensive to ship because they can be delivered via flatbed trailer with no escort vehicles or wide load permits, and we can ship the kits nationwide.

I love tiny cabins. I have a little place on the outskirts of Palm Springs, CA that is very comfortable and I also list it on Airbnb. It’s real stone with plaster overlay and mesquite hardwood flooring. Check it out!
