Moby1 Expedition Trailers

Since many of the Tiny House Listings readers are big fans of teardrop style trailers and campers I am excited to share Moby1 Expedition Trailers with you.

These trailers are rugged, extremely well-built, comfortable, well-equipped and lightweight. The company’s slogan is “teardrop trailers for the adventurous to the core.” Moby1 offers four teardrop models, each with different sizes and designs to accommodate your specific needs. Of the many quality teardrop builders I’ve came across, admittedly the Moby1 Expedition Trailers are probably the highest quality I’ve seen. What do you think?

The XTR which is branded as being capable of tacking whatever terrain you can throw at it. The XTR is a fully self-contained unit, and with the roof top tent that holds four, a family of seven can be accommodated, all of this small and rugged trailer.

The XC is a smaller, but highly off-road capable trailer that can be outfitted with a roof-mounted tent to transform the two-person trailer to a family camper. With it’s high ground clearance, the XC is ready to do some serious off-roading.

The Road Tour trailer is geared for road trips and is less rugged but with all of the comforts of the other models including a full-sized galley and lots of optional goodies like a sunroof, running water, entertainment center and a roof-mounted tent.

The C2 Compact/Cycle is a small, extremely lightweight trailer made to be pulled by subcompact cars or a motorcycle. At only 300 pounds it can be pulled by practically any car. It is long enough to accommodate a full-sized mattress and available in two width sizes, 40″ and 48″.
