Most people associate Thanksgiving with being thankful for what they have. But isn’t it also about being content?
Contentment is natural wealth, luxury is artificial poverty ~ Socrates
Some people enjoy eating Thanksgiving dinner with their family in a huge house with a seemingly endless amount of possessions. Good for them. Some people are homeless and are fortunate enough to eat a hot meal on Thanksgiving because of charitable people. Good for them as well. But what about you? Do you have a roof over your head? Are you happy with what you have? Regardless of the size of home you are enjoying Thanksgiving in, or every day for that matter, remember that there are always those more and less fortunate than you. What truly matters is that you are thankful and content with what you are fortunate enough to have.
I hope everyone has an awesome Thanksgiving holiday!
